As a Trainee Traffic Management Operative you will work as part of a team carrying out traffic management and winter maintenance operations, general highway and ground related works. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high quality service in a successful traffic management company and develop your knowledge in this industry.
Location: Mobile NI
Hours: 40hrs Per Week (May include Nights and Weekends)
Contract: Full Time/ Permanent
The Trainee Traffic Management Operative will :
1. Install and remove Traffic Management in accordance with Chapter 8
2. Carry out general ground maintenance and winter maintenance
3. Undertake out of hours works
4. Follow task briefings and appropriate safe systems of work and ensure that company Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times
5. Liaise with customers when and where required
6. Complete any reports or records as required, including the reporting and recording of all actions and instructions
7. Take responsibility for vehicles, plant, and materials in your charge
8. Operate appropriate plant and equipment necessary for the required disciplines
9. Participate in any additional works as required by the business
10. Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public, or any other person affected by your duties and responsibilities
11. Participate and complete all training as outlined in the specific training plan

Essential
12. Full UK Drivers License
13. Ability to work flexible hours
Desirable
14. Be Sector Scheme 12A/B qualified
15. Sector scheme 12 D qualified
16. GCSE Maths and English at Grade C and above or equivalent
17. Previous experience in traffic management, landscaping or winter maintenance
18. CSR or equivalent qualificationLGV Licence
19. Trailer Licence
20. Knowledge of Plant Maintenance
