Hoyle Tanner has an opportunity for an individual with 10-15 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in our Ground Transportation Division. This senior position allows you to be involved in the leadership of the projects from start-to-finish, mentor, work on potential pursuits of additional projects, develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. This position could lead to a business development position while utilizing your technical aptitude.
Location:
Manchester’s historic mill yard, our 30,000 square foot office space sits perched on the 5th floor of the original Amory Mill and is the home of our company’s headquarters. Remnants of the historic charm remain in various locations throughout the mill, while our space has been redesigned with modern lines and architectural accents.
Job Responsibilities:
* Hold the lead role in an integrated, multi-discipline team that solves technical project challenges of all types
* Understand project budget, scope of services, project schedule and project development
* Be a primary contributor or author of the development of technical and price proposals
* Monitor and review spent hours and dollars versus percent complete in relation to project timelines and budget and provide recommendations to the Project Manager to stay on track
* Understand the client’s organization and develop professional relationships with client peers
* Manage engineering staff and prioritize technical tasks to meet changes in schedule or resource availability
* Be proficient in technical writing, editing, and presentations
* Identify areas of improvement and regularly shares best practices and/or improve processes
* Develop person-hour estimates and budgets
* Act as a technical lead and demonstrate a specialized skill in a subject matter or application
* Potentially be the primary team member responsible for overall quality control of the project
* Pursue a technical engineering or project management specialization as part of your career growth.
Requirements:
Qualified Candidates:
* BSCE Degree required, MSCE
* 10+ Years of relevant experience
* Current PE in NH, MA, ME, or VT
* Experience with the multiple engineering programs
* Salary is contingent on experience
