The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Drama who will also take on a leadership role in developing Drama across the school. You will:
• Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and inspire students of all abilities.
• Lead the strategic development of Drama, ensuring a vibrant and thriving subject within our curriculum.
• Work closely with the Dance, Music, and English departments to create exciting cross-curricular opportunities and showcase student talent.
• Direct and oversee school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
• Champion the performing arts at Astor, fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork in our students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A passion for Drama and a proven track record of excellent teaching.
• The ability to lead and develop Drama across the school.
• Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with colleagues in the Arts and English faculties.
• Experience in directing school productions and organising performances.
• The drive to enhance student engagement and achievement in Drama.
