We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing supplier of modular and containerised accommodation solutions, seeking a Servicing Engineer to join their friendly and proactive team.

This is a hybrid role, with an average 50/50 split between field and yard-based work, ideal for someone with a strong mechanical or multi-skilled trade background who enjoys variety and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Field Work (2–3 days per week):
Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs on-site
Perform unit installations and demobilisations
Conduct routine inspections and test welfare units/generators
Yard-Based Work
Refurbish and repair portable accommodation and container conversions
Prepare units for hire: plumbing, painting, basic electrics, joinery, welding, and cleaning
Complete off-hire checks and report any damages or issues
About You
You'll need to be self-sufficient, reliable, and happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks. Experience in modular buildings, welfare cabins, or similar is a bonus, but we're also open to multi-skilled tradespeople from related backgrounds.
Skills & Experience
Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or heating knowledge
Confident using power tools and welfare unit equipment
FLT licence (advantageous but not essential)
Basic electrical competence (preferred)
Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and represent the company on-site

Competitive salary up to £32,000 per annum (DOE)
Overtime paid per job (as agreed)
