3 Month contract With A Local Authority Role Overview: To carry out day-to-day carpentry works in both tenanted and void properties, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship Key Responsibilities Perform general carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installations in residential properties. Work within occupied (tenanted) and vacant (void) properties with minimal disruption. Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, kitchens, flooring, and other wooden fixtures. Carry out first and second fix carpentry as required. Diagnose faults and determine appropriate repair methods. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors. Complete job reports and documentation accurately and on time. Respond to emergency or urgent repair requests when required. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter in maintenance or construction environments. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience working in social housing or similar environments (desirable). Good customer service and communication skills. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent). Valid CSCS card (preferred). Full UK driving licence (essential). Additional Information 40 hours per Week Bi-Weekly Payments
