Primary School PPA Cover Teacher (Term 6)
Location: Chatham Start Date: 1st June 2026 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Duration: Term 6 (until the end of the academic year)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Primary School PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming school in Chatham for Term 6. This is a full-time role covering PPA across a range of year groups, providing high-quality teaching and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of class teachers.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
* Follow pre-planned lessons and adapt where necessary
* Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
* Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable
* Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching across year groups
