You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, working with a supportive team while managing your own area of responsibility.
What you’ll be doing:
Planning and coordinating container movements from Felixstowe and London Gateway
Managing your own fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and strong service delivery
Building positive, professional relationships with drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent
Taking ownership of daily challenges and resolving issues quickly and effectively
Booking and managing VBS slots accurately to keep operations on track
What we’re looking for:
Experience in transport planning, ideally within container or haulage operations
Ability to stay organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of port operations and VBS systems
Familiarity with TOPS (beneficial but not essential)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
A proactive, motivated mindset with the confidence to take ownership of your work
Good attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
