As part of our central technology team, you’ll help shape the tools and platforms that support more than 2,500 veterinary practices across 20 countries.
The Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross‑functional product team working on web applications that make a real difference to animal health outcomes. You’ll help design, build, and iterate user interfaces that are accessible, responsive, and easy to use.
What you'll be doing:
* Build and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js
* Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality features
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
* Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems
* Apply best practices in accessibility, performance, and responsive design
* Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Deploy and monitor applications using AWS‑based infrastructure and DevOps tools
* Stay up to date with modern frontend frameworks, libraries, and patterns
What you’ll bring:
* Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
* Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals — accessibility, performance, responsive design
* Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
* Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices
* Experience working in a cloud environment, ideally AWS
* A collaborative mindset and good communication skills
* Enthusiasm for working in an agile, product‑focused team
Bonus if you also have:
* Experience working with design systems and shared component libraries
* Knowledge of server‑side rendering, static site generation, or hybrid rendering
* Exposure to observability and monitoring tools for frontend applications
