Set team goals, monitor performance, and implement development plans to support individual and team growth Liaise with external suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for outsourced materials and components, ensuring cost-efficiency in project estimates Continuously assess estimation and design processes, implementing enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction Document all estimates, quotations, and relevant correspondence for auditing and record-keeping purposes PERSON SPECIFICATION: Commercial ManagerEstimator, Commercial Lead, Estimating Manager, Technical Sales Estimator, Commercial Estimator - Packaging, Pallets, Packaging Solutions Proven experience in estimating management, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO9000, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and 5S. Experience with market research and business development, with the ability to identify and capitalise on new market opportunities. Excellent leadership and team development skills, with experience in mentoring and motivating teams. Proficiency in estimation software, design tools, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
