Carmichaels are seeking an Agent to work on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. As a Site Agent, you will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules. This position will need to be able to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. This role will also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. The Agent will assist with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role. This position will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control. About The Candidate • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent. • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills. • Must have extensive experience of working on Structures, Highways and/or drainage • You must hold the following competencies: o SMSTS o CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor • You must hold a full driving license
