Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or a two-year technical degree in Computer Science or other closely related field. Familiarity with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) and understanding of cloud-native systems design. Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript preferred. Experience and extensive understanding of software design patterns, SDLC, unit testing, and debugging. Familiarity with relational, time-series, and/or tag databases. Familiar with both Windows and Linux server environments. Experience writing unit tests and integration tests. Familiar with software development tools; code repositories, build tools, and agile software lifecycle management platforms. Prior knowledge of building automation systems (HVAC and lighting) is beneficial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a team-based collaboration environment. Professional attitude with a clean and neat appearance. Responsibilities: Develop software applications that support projects and service offerings. Work closely with the product, UX, and developer team members to build new and enhance existing experiences. Create visualization methods and applications. Design, code, test, and debug software applications. Collaborate with team members, pair program, and provide peer review feedback. Leverage effective written and verbal communication with a variety of stakeholders.
