We're looking for a results-driven
Senior Commercial Manager
to lead category growth across Discount, Wholesale, Convenience, Retail, E-commerce, and Pharmacy sectors. You'll take ownership of a supplier sub-sector, driving sales and profitability, negotiating competitive terms, and recovering costs for residual and out-of-date stock. Managing a team of Commercial Managers and Junior Commercial Managers, you'll work closely with suppliers to implement joint business plans and develop growth strategies aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop your commercial team to deliver annual budgetary targets.
* Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and improved profit margins.
* Implement category management strategies tailored to each customer sector.
* Recover costs on residuals, overstocks, and expired goods.
* Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice for medicines and medical devices.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a similar commercial leadership role.
* Proven negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.
* Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability, and forecasting skills.
* Team management experience and a collaborative approach.
* Advanced Excel skills and effective presentation abilities.
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
