As an Assistant Production Planner at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the production of equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Lead Production Planner, you will assist in tactical & strategic planning activities to ensure that we achieve our weekly & monthly dispatch targets. This role will also provide support to the supply chain department in terms of planning queries, purchase orders & part set up within our Oracle system.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Create weekly reports/KPI’s for Production Control & Supply Chain.
2. Responsible for set up and maintenance of Slotting, and Production forecasts as per Sales and operations planning process to drive supply chain demand.
3. Ensure sales order demand is continuously aligned with forecast and master production schedule.
4. Assist in the monthly S&OP planning cycle.
5. Ensure accuracy of Takt schedules including cut, weld, paint, sub assembly & final assembly.
6. Responsible for ‘month-end’ work orders progression and ensuring completed machines are in Finished Goods.
7. Root cause & investigate MRP planning queries.
8. Assist the NPPD buyer with admin & expediting parts.
9. Manage internal steel requisitions between Terex sites.
10. Assist in managing the outsourcing projects across multiple Terex sites.

Experience & Qualifications:
11. Excellent attention to detail
12. Good standard of education
13. Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing industry
14. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) would be preferable
15. Creativity and innovative thinking
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
16. Excellent numerical and analytical skills (attention to detail).
17. Proven / Demonstratable user of MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel
18. A “Can do” attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.
19. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
20. Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
21. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
