The Opportunity
This is a senior operational role within our Bureau Team, focussed on supporting the accurate and efficient management of client utility portfolios.
Working closely with Client Services, Procurement, and Metering Teams, you’ll play a key role in managing complex supplier and client queries, validating utility invoices, supporting bureau operations and improving internal processes. Reporting to the Bureau Team Manager, you’ll act as a senior technical point of expertise within the Bureau Team – supporting colleagues with complex billing queries, providing guidance to team members, and helping drive consistency and best practice across bureau operations, reporting and processes.
You’ll engage with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure high standards of service delivery while helping clients better manage utility cost and consumption across their portfolios.

Job Requirements
* Experience of working within the utilities industry, such as an energy bureau, supplier, consultancy or billing environment
* Strong understanding of electricity and gas billing structures and validation processes
* Experience handling supplier queries, change of tenancy processes and billing investigations
* Strong Excel and data analysis capability with experience of managing large datasets and producing reports
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate outcomes
* A proactive and solution‑focused approach mindset
* Confident in learning new systems and adapting to change
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Job Responsibilities
* Providing an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders
* Acting as a senior escalation point for operational issues and complex supplier queries
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the Bureau Team
* Validating utility invoices and investigating billing anomalies
* Managing client and supplier queries in line with agreed service levels and KPIs
* Processing and managing change of tenancy requirements
* Producing portfolio‑wide reports for clients across utility portfolios
* Maintaining accurate client, site and billing data within internal systems
* Supporting supplier transitions and procurement activity where required
* Identifying opportunities to improve bureau systems, operational processes and workflows
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the wider Utility Management Team
* Attending client meetings and representing the Bureau Team where required
