The Marketing Performance Manager is a crucial role within the Global Marketing and Sales Centre of Excellence (GMS CoE), focusing on three core workstreams: Data & Insights, Ad Tech, and Competitor Intelligence. The role will partner with stakeholders across the whole, you will be comfortable communicating to people across all organizational levels as well as handling changing priorities and timescales. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Development of Marketing Performance Dashboards: • Lead the development of end-to-end marketing performance dashboards covering all Convatec marketing channels (in Power BI), working closely with the Business Units to define requirements and IT for delivery • Partner with colleagues in Global Business units establish a regular meeting cadence to Investigate, analyze, and report on key trends in performance and emerging issues, agreeing on action plans and monitoring progress. • Build analytical capabilities with the marketing community and a culture of data driven decision making and campaigns • Provide guidance on planning, executing and optimizing personalized digital marketing campaigns. • Ensure key enablers are in place to provide meaningful reporting, such as marketing segmentation and external benchmarking • Use advanced analytics / data science techniques to determine which activities drive marketing return on investment. Ad Tech • Be the Convatec expert on Digital Advertising Technology, leading and guiding the Ad Tech strategy of the GMS CoE and Business Units • Design and implement the optimal GA4 and GTM container structure and work closely with Global business units and local markets to ensure their campaigns are accurately tracked • Use GA4 and Meta Ads Manager to monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, identifying actionable insights to improve targeting, creative, and conversion rates • Set up and manage tracking pixels, custom events, and conversion goals to ensure accurate measurement of campaign effectiveness • Stay current with the latest trends and updates in digital advertising platforms, proactively recommending new tactics and technologies to enhance campaign performance • Ensure all digital advertising activities comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). Competitor Intelligence • Continuously monitor and benchmark competitor digital advertising strategies, spend, and creative approaches using tools such as Brandwatch and SEMrush, • Analyse competitor share of voice, messaging, and campaign performance to identify opportunities and threats in the market • Produce regular competitor intelligence reports for key stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations for digital strategy. • Track emerging trends in competitor activity, including new product launches, digital channels, and customer engagement tactics. About You: • Degree in relevant subject • 5 years in a digital marketing, performance marketing, or analytical role (ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries) • Track record in creating marketing performance dashboards • Strong expertise in Power BI & Looker Studio • Advanced skills in GA4, Meta Ads • Skilled in using Competitor tools like SEMrush and Brandwatch • Technical skills, comfortable setting up tracking pixels, custom events and conversion goals for accurate measurement
