Senior Education Recruitment Consultant / Assistant Manager (SEND) – Vision for Education

Location: Chelmsford

Contract: Permanent - Full-Time

Competitive salary dependent on experience level

We are looking to appoint a Senior Recruitment Consultant or Assistant Manager, for a SEND team within our existing Essex branch. You will be working alongside experienced Senior Consultants and a Branch Manager who are currently focused on Primary and Secondary sectors.

We invest substancially on advertising and sourcing platforms, ensuring that you have the best possible access to candidates across Essex. We have a UK based Candidate Consultant team, that support you and your candidates journey after registration through to clearance. A clear, simple and uncapped comission scheme combined with a s retailer discount programme, regular bonus and incentives to esnure you always feel rewarded.

We are looking for Experienced Consultants:

Key Requirement:

1. Successful Education Recruitment experience - or a similar sector
2. Proven track record of converting prospective clients and supporting the development of existing clients
3. Must be Sales/Business Development focused

You will provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse, involving:

4. Working with a large client base - Across all types of SEND, differentiating your approach and candidate base according to needs
5. Using sales, business development and marketing techniques and networking opportunities to attract business from client schools
6. Visiting clients to build and develop close working relationships, providing the best possible service at all times
7. Advertising vacancies by placing adverts on a variety of job boards
8. Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates, employers, and the teaching community
9. Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
10. Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates for each client
11. Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
12. Briefing and preparing each candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job
13. Preparing CVs and profiles to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
14. Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client, followed by successfully negotiations
15. Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
16. Using our CRM system to manage bookings with speed and accuracy
17. Coordinating sponsorship activities for client schools

The successful Recruitment Consultant will have/be:

19. Responsible to work with autonomy in a way that grows their business
20. Able to take on new ideas and techniques
21. The ability to grow a SEND desk from the start
22. Excellent time management and organisational skills
23. Resilient through challenges and always keep a positive attitude
24. Possess a professional and ethical approach to business
25. Be able to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face-to-face
26. Possess a desire to exceed the highest levels of customer service
