Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30, Friday 8:00-14:00
Salary IRO £38-£43K PA (Negotiable DOE)
About the Role
Are you passionate about driving quality and excellence in engineering? We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our client's growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, EN1090, ISO14001, and ISO45001, while leading initiatives to improve processes, systems and customer satisfaction.
As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a vital role in welding quality control, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement, making a real impact on how products are delivered to some of the world's leading industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain Quality systems and processes.
Manage NCR, CAPA, and risk mitigation activities.
Organise audits (internal, external, and customer).
Maintain WPS/WPQR and Welder qualifications.
Deliver training on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure ITPs, LTQRs, and project traceability are achieved.
Report on KPIs to management.
Drive Lean, CI, and digitalisation initiatives across the business.
About You
5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance for manufacturing.
Welding & fabrication background (essential).
ISO9001 Auditor certification (essential).
CSWIP / PCN Visual Inspection (essential).
Strong IT and data analysis skills.
Experience with 8D, Ishikawa, or similar root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
