About the Role:
Job Title - Java Microservices Backend Engineer
Location – Sheffield, UK
Mode of Work – Hybrid (2 Days Onsite in Week)
Type of Hiring – Fixed Term Employment (FTE)
Project Duration – 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Detailed Job Description:
* 7+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
* Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Spring Boot.
* Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API design principles.
* Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
* Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
* Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
* Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
