Animal Management Technician – variable hours
£13.09 - £13.48 per hour

We are looking to recruit an experienced Animal Management Technician for our brand‑new Animal Management facility. The unit comprises of multiple rooms housing a wide range of small mammals, exotic mammals, aquatics, reptiles, herptiles and insects.
You will be responsible for organising and carrying out routine care of our animals and their brand‑new facilities and ensuring a high degree of animal welfare. The role will include working with a small team of part time technicians to rotas and always maintain cover in the unit. Also planning rotas for lecturers to utilise rooms for the requirements of our students on various Level 1,2 and 3 courses along HNC/HND. Maintenance and ordering of stock and equipment will also be essential.
