We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary aged pupil with complex autism on a supply basis from September. This rewarding role is ideal for someone patient, resilient, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in a child’s daily school experience.
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex autism
* Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
* Implement personalised strategies and follow EHCP targets
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent support
* Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience supporting children with autism and complex needs
* Be calm, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach
* Have strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Be confident working on a 1:1 basis
* Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
