Bluebird Care Coleraine is seeking an organised and proactive Care Co-ordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where youll coordinate care delivery, manage rotas, and support both customers and care staff. This includes coordinating care schedules, supporting staff, and working closely with customers and healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities Coordinate and oversee delivery of domiciliary care services Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure full coverage of care calls Adjust schedules to respond to sickness, holidays, and emergencies Liaise with the Registered Manager on recruitment and staffing needs Maintain accurate care records (digital and manual systems) Communicate with customers, families, and healthcare professionals Monitor service quality and report incidents, concerns, and updates Support general office administration and reporting What were looking for Experience in a care co-ordinator, scheduler, or similar role (preferred) Background in health & social care or domiciliary care (desirable) Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident IT skills (experience with PASS system advantageous) Flexible approach to work, including participation in on-call rota Requirements Enhanced Access NI check (required) Right to work in the UK Please note: we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
