Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Technician to join our manufacturing team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Building, inspecting, and testing new products according to ATP documentation and scope of approval.
2. Diagnosing faults on all products.
3. Performing fault diagnosis on returned items and providing strip reports.
4. Repairing and testing customer units as needed.
5. Participating in training programs for operations staff.
6. Conducting first-off and patrol inspections of non-approved operators' work.
Responsibilities
1. Assembling new build products and repairing customer units as per drawings and instructions.
2. Fault diagnosis and reporting for customer returns.
3. Final ATP testing of customer units.
4. Identifying issues and recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
5. Acting as a liaison with quality, engineering, and other departments.
6. Reviewing job progress for continuous improvement.
7. Attending training for personal and company development.
8. Adhering to company procedures and performing other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
* Understanding of customer expectations and requirements.
* Respectful teamwork skills.
* Recent eye test and appropriate actions if needed.
* At least 6 months of broad-based cell experience.
* Understanding of Ultra PCS certification standards.
* IPC certification.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
* Three years’ experience in aerospace/defence or relevant engineering qualifications.
