We are looking for a Semi‑Skilled Paint Prepper. This role is ideal for someone with prep experience who takes pride in producing clean, accurate work and wants to develop their skills in a high‑quality refinishing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicle panels and components for painting
* Sanding, masking, degreasing and priming to required standards
* Assist paint technicians with pre‑paint and post‑paint processes
* Identify surface imperfections and carry out corrective preparation
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
* Follow all workshop safety procedures and quality guidelines
About You
* Experience in automotive paint preparation or similar bodyshop work
* Good understanding of sanding, masking and surface preparation techniques
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual and proactive
* Willingness to learn and develop within the paintshop
* Training can be provided for the right candidate
