Higher Level Teaching Assistant
35 hours per week, 39 Weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days)
Grade G (SCP 21 – 25) - £33,143 - £36,363 (pro rata to hours worked)

The Board of Trustees wish to provide an opportunity for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our school team. The post holder will be at Village Primary Academy.
The successful candidate will have:
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or willingness to work towards.
* Training and experience in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy/ Key Stage 1 or 2
* Experience of leading whole-class teaching opportunities from EYFS to KS2
* Experience of preparing and delivering resources (age and ability appropriate) to engage with pupils and contribute to their learning objectives
* Experience of developing and implementing Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans
* Experience of working with pupils with different abilities, and adapting own approach and learning
* Experience of delivering a strong universal teaching offer
