Key Responsibilities:
· Develop internal tools and systems to support traders, including automation scripts and web-based control consoles.
· Build and maintain end-to-end sports data pipelines, covering data scraping, data cleaning, transformation, and reliable data storage.
· Monitor, investigate, and troubleshoot data quality issues, such as missing, inconsistent, or duplicated records.
· Maintain and enhance existing software projects, improving stability, performance, and usability over time.
· Analyse sports betting data and communicate actionable insights to traders and other non-technical users.
· Collaborate closely with users and stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality features.
Skills / Competencies Required:
· 2+ years’ coding experience.
· Good Python development and OOP experience. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured Python code using OOP principles.
· Familiarity with Docker / containers.
· Basic understanding of APIs (REST).
Desirable skills:
· Familiarity with fast problem-solving in production environments.
· Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS).
· Experience with automated testing.
