VAN DRIVER Shift: WORKIN MONDAY - FRIDAY: 05.30 - 07.00 STARTS Pay Rate: £12.21 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Sandy. As a VAN driver you will receive the following benefits: Guaranteed 8 hours per day Ongoing Work Weekly Pay On-site Canteen Immediate Starts Holiday Accrued Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a VAN driver will involve but not be limited to: Operate and drive various 3.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills: As a Van driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Must have good knowledge of UK road network Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training: Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process ADZN1_UKTJ
