Mechanical Engineer Tamworth Up to £42,000 We're looking for a hands on Mechanical Engineer to join a busy, well-established engineering team working on essential mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, learning on the job, and building their experience in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The Role Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of mechanical equipment Support breakdowns and fault finding to keep operations running smoothly Assist with mechanical repairs, strip-downs, and rebuilds Work on systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, and braking systems Complete inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate Work closely with other engineers and departments on site What We're Looking For Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (essential) Some hands-on mechanical experience (manufacturing, industrial, or similar) A practical mindset with a willingness to learn and develop Basic fault-finding skills and an interest in improving equipment performance Team player with a proactive approach What's on Offer Salary up to £42,000 Great opportunity to build experience in a strong engineering team Ongoing training and development Varied, hands-on work across different types of equipment Supportive environment with opportunities to progress Interested?
