We are seeking a proactive Procurement Programme Support to work with the Head of New Hospital Procurement in delivering strategic procurement activity for the New Hospital Programme.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure compliance and adherence to all policies and procedures, including European Law, English law, and the Trust’s standing financial instructions in the delivery of all procurement activity, whilst staying abreast of any changes in procurement legislation.
* Provide support to the Head of New Hospital Procurement on specific projects. Reporting and presenting data or information as required to the NHP Programme in both written and verbal formats.
* Support the Head of New Hospital Procurement to deliver procurement activities by analysing procurement data and providing administrative support as required.
* Provide administrative procurement support to the Head of New Hospital Procurement to enable the team to tender contracts and frameworks in a timely basis and in compliance with EU/UK/public sector procurement policies, procedures and legislation, using pre‑negotiated frameworks and contracts (where appropriate), or OJEU, and ensure local contracts (where necessary) are negotiated and awarded to ensure value for money.
