We are recruiting Vehicle Compound Drivers to join our client’s newly opened site in Long Bennington, a leading UK automotive company. This role is essential in ensuring efficient vehicle movements between the compound and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely manoeuvre vehicles within the large outdoor compound and in/out of workshops.
2. Parking vehicles in bays and jump-start where necessary.
3. Work with a variety of vehicles, including standard cars, high-performance models, and EVs.
4. Drive manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and electric vehicles.
5. Carry out pre-movement vehicle inspections, reporting any damages or issues.
6. Work efficiently in all weather conditions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
7. Confident driving different vehicle types and transmissions.
8. Previous professional driving experience is an advantage.
9. Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with no more than 6 points for minor offences).
10. Must have your own vehicle to be able to get to site.
