Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who shares our vision and commitment to ensuring the very best for every child in our care. We seek someone with a sense of humour, who is self-motivated, organised, flexible, and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
The successful candidate needs to be an articulate and influential communicator, have proven financial management skills, possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school – children, staff, parents, and governors.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. General school office administration
2. HR management: including adherence to recruitment procedures and processing staff contracts, absence, and overtime/expense claims
3. Management of the school budget and finances
4. Procurement management: including processing orders and invoices in line with financial procedures
5. Compiling and monitoring Health and Safety reports, liaising with contractors, and supporting day-to-day health and safety matters
6. Administering medication and first aid to pupils and acting as the First Aid at Work representative

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, during term time only (190 days). You may also be required to work some ad hoc days, such as INSET days or days within the school holidays, should the need arise.
The full-time equivalent pay (£24,040) is based on Kent Range 5, which equates to £19,057 per annum (pro-rata).
