Your new role
As a Logistics Specialist, you will provide hands-on support to the logistics function during a period of reduced team capacity. This is a non-managerial, operational role suited to an experienced logistics professional who can work independently and manage day-to-day shipment activity.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating outbound shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners
2. Preparing and processing shipping and export documentation
3. Managing the compliant dispatch of hazardous or dangerous goods
4. Ensuring adherence to customs regulations and internal procedures
5. Monitoring shipments and resolving routine logistics issues
6. Liaising with internal teams and external carriers to align operational requirements
7. Maintaining accurate shipment records and updating internal systems
8. This is an on-site role based in Merseyside, working Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.
