About Our Client

My client is a dynamic and fast-paced Financial Services firm based in the heart of Central London. Their team supports a broad portfolio of clients across investment, advisory, and asset management services. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations during a busy period.

Job Description

3. Prepare and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain financial records.
5. Support the month-end close process by providing essential data.
6. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks effectively.
7. Respond to client and supplier queries in a timely manner.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
9. Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team as needed.
10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

11. A background in accounting or finance, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
16. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
