Sales Representative - Joint Replacement – Lothian, Borders, Fife and Forth Valley
Work Flexibility: Field-based
Responsibilities
* Outperform the market by competing and gaining market share for Stryker Joint Replacement products in the territory and exceeding sales targets.
* Maximise current Joint Replacement business by meeting existing customers and creating a business plan to meet challenges and exploit opportunities.
* Develop relationships with potential new customers through presentations and discussions around Stryker philosophy and product benefits. Meet all hip/knee replacement surgeons in the territory within the first 6 months.
* Become a product expert by demonstrating orthopaedics product knowledge and completing JR101 within the first 6 weeks, with JR201 completion within the first 12 months.
* Lead in theatre joint replacement procedures by spending quality time in theatre with customers and delivering staff training as required.
* Research, develop and execute a territory-specific business plan aligned to corporate aims with clear, measurable outcomes.
* Demonstrate continuous development with an agreed Individual Development Plan (IDP) each year.
* Proactively seek cross-franchise collaboration with other Stryker colleagues to optimise opportunities and customer relationships.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years sales experience is essential, ideally within medical sales; experience in joint replacement is a bonus.
* Commercial acumen with an appreciation of budgetary and cost issues surrounding theatres and surgical procedures.
* Computer skills, MS Office.
* Presentation skills with modern presentation media.
* Workshop/demonstration/training skills.
* Good working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
