The Role Power NI, part of Energia Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller based in Belfast. Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader, the main objective of the Credit Controller role is to reduce arrears in line with target, improving our company’s cash flow while at the same time ensuring all market Codes of Practice, Data Protection and in-house department procedures are followed. The role will involve incoming and outbound telephone calls, investigative work to locate debtors, working with third party agencies and reporting information when required to the Regulatory Department. Energia are seeking to recruit someone with experience in a customer specialist role. What you'll need 2 years experience working in Credit Control or a similar environment dealing with a high volume of customers and finding the best ways to recover payment for bills with effective negotiation. Previous experience of working in a fast paced / target driven environment. Excellent telephone manner with experience of working daily on inbound & outbound calls. Demonstrable strong communication skills and a well organised approach. Experience of working towards KPIs. Proficient in the use of MS office to include - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
