Good Food Guide Listing Brighton
5-star Food Hygiene Listing
Our kitchen is overseen by Exec Chef James Flavell, who works a three day week. We are looking for someone to come into the team on a 2-4 day week to ensure we execute his dishes and plating when he is not there to our high standards.
That would include running the pass on Friday and Saturday nights when we have multiple orders (as a small plates restaurant, a table of 2 might order up to 8 dishes) so requires someone with the skill of reading across tickets, and thinking about the order in which certain dishes should be presented to (15 x ) tables.
There would also be the responsibility of keeping on top of stock ordering when in.
A minimum of 2 year experience of working on a section in a professional kitchen is required. You must be competent in food preparation, working a busy service, storage and labeling, stock control and maintaining a professional attitude and personal hygiene in the workplace.
