Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in the meal preparation process, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly.
Duties
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
* Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
* Maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
* Participate in menu planning and development as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
