Senior Personal Advisor – Care Leavers Service
We are further expanding our service and are recruiting a Senior Personal Advisor who will be supporting our care‑experienced young people with additional and complex needs as they transition into adulthood.
Responsibilities
* Support young people 16‑25 with additional and complex needs to develop and achieve their ambitions and potential through successful engagement in education, training and employment.
* Undertake regular visits and work collaboratively with other PAs, young people and those supporting them within the framework of their pathway plan.
* Take a leadership role in developing effective and collaborative partnerships with our adult services and the multi‑agency interface.
* Lead on delivering workshops across the service and provide reflective support focused on transitions to adult services.
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team along with adult social care, adult mental health and other relevant services to support transitions through high‑quality services for our young people.
* Provide expertise and focus through group supervision to support and develop practice and service delivery to young people with additional and complex needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Committed to a systemic, strength‑based, relationship and solution‑focused practice model.
* Ability to contextualise the needs of care leavers through a trauma‑informed / adverse childhood experience / complex needs lens.
* Relevant experience in supporting care‑experienced young people and/or additional and complex needs.
