The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and driven individual to join our merchandising team. The successful candidate will support the Production Merchandiser and play a key role in ensuring orders move smoothly from confirmation through to delivery.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full production lifecycle, making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in merchandising or product.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Production Merchandiser on key accounts to help drive business growth
* Manage and maintain critical paths to ensure orders are delivered on time
* Provide weekly updates on order progress and highlight any risks or delays
* Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with suppliers and customers
* Raise sales and purchase orders accurately
* Complete customer contracts once orders are confirmed
* Develop and maintain strong cross funtional relationships at Laurelle; with design, logistics, accounts, warehouse and sales teams.
* Collate and manage all product safety and testing documentation
* Coordinate and track samples across departments, ensuring they meet required specifications and deadlines
* Chase, check, and submit samples for testing and production approval
* Monitor core line performance and support repeat order planning
Skills, qualifications and experience:
* Experience in an Assistant Merchandiser or similar coordination role
* Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, in academic or fashion subject and or relevant experience.
* An understanding of the retail market, fashion trends and brand positioning, both UK and internationally.
* Exposure to working with retailers, brands, or suppliers (preferred)
* Strong organisational,numerical and IT skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders daily
* Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
* Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
* An interest in fragrance, beauty, or product development is advantageous
