The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for 2 Laboratory Technicians to support their microbiology department at Shrewsbury.
The successful candidates will test a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using various analytical techniques.

Role 1:
Hours Per Week: 40
Days Per Week: Sunday (10:00 - 20:30) and Monday to Wednesday (11:00 - 21:30)
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,834 per annum
Role 2:
Hours Per Week: 40
Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (14:30 - 23:00)
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,834 per annum
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Performing analysis in accordance with documented methodology
* Following all processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
* Conducting daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
* Conforming to all site Quality Management systems and Health and Safety protocols
* Keeping accurate records
The Essentials
* Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to read, understand, and implement instructions accurately
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* A keen eye for detail
* Strong time management skills
* Methodical approach to work
