Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for UKS2 students in line with the National Curriculum. Prepare students for end of Key Stage 2 assessments while maintaining a calm and positive learning environment. Regularly monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing feedback and setting clear targets for development. Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to develop a love for learning. Collaborate with fellow staff members to share best practices and ensure high-quality curriculum delivery. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, offering regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Actively participate in school-wide meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching Year 6 or within upper Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience preparing students for Key Stage 2 SATs. A proven track record in delivering excellent classroom management and helping students achieve their best. A student-focused teacher who is passionate about raising achievement and promoting learning for all. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
