Typically, this person will focus on driving new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector across Hertfordshire and the Home Counties. They will be responsible for generating new client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering value-driven Fire & Security solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building a pipeline of opportunities and achieving ambitious targets.

Duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security:
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector
• Build and develop strong relationships with prospective clients, including end users, facilities management companies, M&E contractors, consultants, and specifiers
• Promote Fire & Security solutions, including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems, and integrated solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders to win new business
• Maintain CRM data, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery for new clients
• Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to provide market-leading solutions
Qualifications and requirements for the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security:
• Proven experience in new business development or sales within the Fire & Security sector
• Strong technical understanding of Fire and/or Electronic Security systems
• Demonstrable success in generating new business and achieving targets
• Established contacts within Hertfordshire & Home Counties advantageous
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
