How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*?

Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).

If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join #teamOFG!

Job Title: Practitioner Psychologist

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £70,000 (pro rata, DOE) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another of £1,500 after your final probation period. T&C's Apply)

Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (there may be scope for this role to be full-time if preferred, please get in touch). (Part time considered)

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

We’re looking for a Practitioner Psychologist to support the development of our clinical service and work closely with the Lead Clinician to develop therapeutic support that affirms neurodiversity and intersectionality.

This role offers a chance to make a real impact by shaping a service and driving transformational change, ideal for those seeking a new challenge.

About the role

We are expanding our clinical service during a time of growth. The Practitioner Psychologist will work collaboratively to deliver assessment and intervention plans for pupils, contributing to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice. The role requires resilience, enthusiasm, a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and workload management.

Our Clinical Team supports a nurturing environment where pupils flourish, with a strong safeguarding culture. We prioritize hearing, respecting, and involving pupils in decisions affecting them.

As the leading service provider in the UK, we aim for excellence in supporting vulnerable young people to build futures full of happiness and opportunity.
