To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment. You’ll champion our mission and values to create the Starbucks experience for our customers and partners. You’ll understand your market, know your competition, and identify opportunities to drive store profitability and business growth. You’ll be an ambassador for our partner networks, ensuring our partners feel they belong.
The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! As a store leader working in one of our dynamic stores, you’ll set an example and lead from the front on shift. A typical day could include:
* Executing store operations through your team during scheduled shifts and on your days off, covering opening, closing, and weekends.
* Analyzing data and observations in store to inform decisions that improve customer experience and store performance.
* Working with store leaders to use forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labor within budgets and recruit diverse, talented partners.
* Cascading and implementing new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive results.
* Supporting partner growth through performance management, coaching, and relationship building.
* Setting challenging yet realistic goals to drive engagement and improve partner performance.
Our stores operate at various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
All retail partners start with an introductory training program led by in-store trainers and coaches, immersing you in Starbucks culture and setting you up for success.
