Job Description
Westbourne operates a fleet of fully equipped service vehicles across its service area. You will be provided with a vehicle fitted with diagnostic tools and towing equipment capable of handling most roadside repairs and recoveries.
The primary goal of a Westbourne Technician is to safely repair as many vehicles as possible at the roadside, aiming to outperform competitors. Repairs cover all makes and models, with potential for basic repairs in workshops.
Technicians may also recover non-repairable vehicles within a 60-mile radius, with long-distance recoveries handled by dedicated drivers.
Salary
The basic salary is £34,000 per year, with bonus opportunities potentially adding up to £8,000 annually.
Shift Hours
4 days on duty followed by 2 days off, with shift start times alternating after each set of days off: 0800 to 2000 or 1400 to 0200.
About You
We seek enthusiastic, friendly individuals passionate about customer service. If you enjoy working in varied environments and weather conditions, and have at least three years of experience in a vehicle-related industry, we want to hear from you. A full Category B driving license held for at least three years is essential. Training for towing trailers is provided if needed. Relevant experience or a Level 3 qualification as a vehicle technician is preferred. All candidates will undergo CRB checks.
