The first week is aimed at Year 10 students and the second week is aimed at Year 12 students. If you do not fall within these categories but your school work experience week do not match the year groups offered, please apply for the week that best fits. Please note however that the weeks are targeted at the appropriate year groups and they will be given priority. 5th - 8th May (Aimed at Year 10 students) A variety of opportunities to observe and potentially experience some tasks; likely to be in engineering, ground and flight operations, training services and enabling business functions. Each day, you will spend time exploring different parts of AirTanker and will get the opportunity to speak to people from a variety of backgrounds. This will give you the chance to understand the many and varied different roles that exist within AirTanker. At the end of the week you will be asked to take part in a presentation highlighting what you have learnt and gained from the week. Upon successful completion of your week of Work Experience, you will be presented with a certificate of completion to record your time with us. 13th - 17th (Aimed at Year 12 students) A variety of opportunities to observe and potentially experience some tasks; likely to be in engineering, ground and flight operations, training services and enabling business functions. Your first day will give you an overview of AirTanker as a whole and will touch on many aspects of the business. The middle part of your week will be spent in the part of the business that is most of interest to you careers wise. On your last day, we will come back together as a group and you will be asked to take part in a presentation highlighting what you have learnt and gained from the week. Upon successful completion of your week of Work Experience, you will be presented with a certificate of completion to record your time with us.
