SEN Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs (Primary)
Enfield, North London | £100–£105 per day | Term Time Only
Are you a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a deeply rewarding role where your support can truly change lives? We are recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a caring and well-established primary setting in Enfield, starting after February half term on 23 February 2026.
This role is based within a dedicated SEN soft hub, supporting 8–10 pupils ranging from Nursery to Year 6. The children have complex needs, including global developmental delay and non-verbal communication needs. You will be part of a highly supported environment, working alongside 4–5 experienced staff, an unqualified teacher/leader who delivers daily planning, and a hands-on SENCO who leads and guides the provision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to pupils with complex and additional needs
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
• Assist with structured activities planned to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary SEN team
• Help create a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

• Has experience supporting children with complex SEN and non-verbal pupils
• Is patient, nurturing and confident working across a wide age range
• Understands inclusive practice and child-centred support
• Works well as part of a close, supportive team
• Brings a positive, flexible and proactive approach
