Lead Patient Care Coordinator | Windsor, CO
Reporting to RIA Endovascular Practice Supervisor

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists, most of whom are fellowship‑trained. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnoses and partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead and support patient care coordination workflows across scheduling, referrals, authorizations, intake, and follow‑up for a high‑patient‑volume endovascular practice
* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, referring offices, physicians, advanced practice providers, and internal staff
* Coordinate consultations, post‑procedure visits, and ongoing follow‑up to ensure continuity of care
* Monitor provider schedules and clinic capacity to optimize patient flow, access, and operational efficiency
* Assist with triaging patient concerns, escalating urgent issues appropriately, and ensuring timely resolution
* Oversee insurance verification, prior authorizations, referral documentation, and copay collection to support timely treatment and minimize delays
* Support pre‑procedure and post‑procedure patient education, including preparation instructions, recovery expectations, and follow‑up needs
* Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements that enhance patient experience, staff efficiency, and clinic performance
* Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative leadership to support quality, compliance, and excellent customer service
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies
* Compose and/or transcribe various letters, memos and reports within prescribed time frames
* Perform various clerical duties as assigned
* Efficiently respond to high call volume with excellent customer service skills
* Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Strong knowledge of insurance authorization processes
* 3‑5 years medical office experience preferred
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills
* Solid knowledge of medical terminology
* Quick learner with the ability to understand Interventional Radiology procedures
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Compensation is between $23 and $28 per hour. In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role and will be reviewed for non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will remain open until filled.
