Head of Commercial Analytics & Sourcing Operations – central London (1-2 days per week) - £110,00-£115,000 + bonus + package
We are seeking a commercially minded, data-driven leader to oversee Commercial Analytics, Bid Management, and Pricing & Commercial Operations functions for my client. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sourcing Execution, you will drive strategic insight, operational excellence, and value creation across large-scale sourcing events, pricing activities, and commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Bid Management and Pricing & Commercial Operations teams, ensuring high performance and operational accuracy.
* Develop and deliver a data-led analytics strategy to support sourcing, pricing, and commercial goals.
* Partner with Supplier Relations, Strategic Initiatives, and Member Engagement teams to align sourcing and pricing activities with business needs.
* Oversee large-scale sourcing events, ad-hoc solicitations, and daily pricing processes, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
* Embed analytics into decision-making and collaborate on KPI and reporting development with the Analytics and Finance teams.
* Identify and drive process improvements, working with Product, Technology, and Process Improvement teams.
* Present insights, performance updates, and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field (preferred).
* Strong leadership and people management experience.
* Background in commercial analytics, sourcing, pricing, or related commercial operations.
* Excellent analytical skills with experience using SQL, dbt, Tableau, or similar tools.
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously.
