Velonetic, representing joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association (IUA), and Lloyd’s of London, has been operating for over 20 years in the London market, processing over £101 billion in premiums and claims. We are building a new digital platform to enhance transaction efficiency, enabling innovation and higher-value activities.
We seek a talented Enterprise Integration Architect to lead our integration strategy within our transformation journey. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Integration Architecture, Systems Integration, and API Management, with a deep understanding of seamless and effective integration processes crucial for smooth operations.
As part of our Enterprise Architecture team, you will develop strategies aligning with our architectural principles and business goals, establishing governance frameworks to ensure secure and efficient system integration.
Responsibilities:
* Define and manage enterprise-wide integration strategies supporting business objectives.
* Analyze business processes to produce high-quality integration designs, collaborating with stakeholders and standards organizations.
* Customize industry-standard frameworks and produce tailored integration models.
* Document the integration value chain and key points within business processes.
* Collaborate on integration architecture, API design, and system implementation with internal and external teams.
* Design integration patterns for analytics, BI, and reporting, ensuring accessibility and real-time insights.
* Work with standards bodies to maintain global integration standards.
* Define non-functional requirements for integration, including security, performance, and auditability.
* Coordinate with Security Architects on security protocols and compliance.
* Establish and oversee governance frameworks for integration management.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in designing and gaining approval for complex integration solutions.
* Stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders and third-party partners.
* Experience with industry-standard frameworks, insurance-specific integration patterns, and standards.
* Knowledge across technical domains like microservices, legacy systems, and workflow management.
* Experience in large-scale transformation projects, migration planning, and security policies.
* Familiarity with TOGAF and external standards organizations.
* Remote work with occasional travel.
