Job Summary
Clinical Governance Lead – Bristol Hospital – Clinical Management – Permanent – Full time. Salary up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience. 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Champion the organisation's brand values.
* Drive continuous improvement of data quality and data analysis capabilities.
* Enhance reporting and escalation processes (Board and Incident Reporting) to guide quality learning and decision‑making.
* Lead delivery of quality assurance and improvement activity, including systems supporting clinical effectiveness, patient safety, regulatory compliance, customer feedback and professional development.
* Lead the development, review and oversight of Clinical Policies and SOPs and manage the clinical policy catalogue.
* Provide advice, guidance and subject‑matter expertise on governance processes to all clinical leaders, including handling complaints.
* Support the maintenance and achievement of accreditation such as ISO 9001 and facilitate successful certification.
* Support delivery of Nuffield Health's Quality Improvement Plan, leading clinical projects and workstreams within remit.
* Act as subject‑matter expert in strategic negotiations relating to clinical governance and QA to support commercial objectives.
Qualifications
* Registered Clinician (NMC, HCPC or GPC) and educated up to degree/post‑graduate level in a clinical discipline.
* Relevant qualifications in organisational governance, e.g., ISO 9001 Auditor or equivalent.
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience within the healthcare sector, with significant experience in clinical governance and quality assurance.
* Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work proactively and efficiently.
Location
Bristol – 3 Clifton Hill, Bristol Avon, BS8 1BN.
Salary
£55 000 to £60 000 per year.
Contract and Working Pattern
Permanent; Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week.
